The space
One room, finished, and yours for the day
Four Little Birds Studios is a single 2,000 sq ft room in the heart of Westchester. When you book it, the whole floor is yours, with no shared time slots, no other shoot setting up in the corner, no one walking through your frame.
The light is the reason people come. Sheer white curtains soften it all day, and when you want to shape it yourself, the pre-lit cyclorama wall gives you a clean white infinity cove lit by 8 RGB lights fixed to the walls, and a full lighting kit, strobes to C-stand, is included with the room. 8 seamless paper backdrops hang ready on stands.
3 styled sets stay built, so you are not spending your first hour making a room look like something: a soft white bed framed by curtains and an olive tree, a neutral sofa and branding desk corner, and a Palm Springs–inspired pink set.
Walk in, plug in, and start shooting.
Getting here is the easy part. We are at 7440 SW 50th Terrace, Suite 110, Miami, FL 33155, minutes from the Palmetto, with 3 dedicated parking spaces and ground-floor access. No garages to circle, no elevators to wait on, no loading dock to book. Pull up and roll your gear straight in.

Who it’s for
Built for people who shoot for a living
The room was designed by a working photographer, which shows in small ways: where the outlets are, how the curtains hang, how fast you can move between sets.
-
Photographers
Portraits, families, headshots, editorial. Private every time, so your client never shares the room with a stranger.
-
Video + motion
A quiet, controllable box with a cyc wall and no street noise, for interviews, reels, and product motion.
-
Brands
Lookbooks, product, and campaign days with three finished sets already built.
-
Content creators
A month of content in an afternoon: pink corner, white bed, cyc wall, sofa nook.
-
Small gatherings
Launches, workshops, and intimate celebrations for up to 10 guests.
Your host
Marie built this room
Marie Herrera is a Miami family and portrait photographer. She spent years renting other people’s studios, with shared floors, hourly scrambles, and sets that photographed worse than they looked, and eventually built the space she kept wishing existed.
She still shoots here most weeks, which is why the light falls where it does and the sets stay finished. When you call the studio, she is the one who answers.

Before you book
- What is the minimum booking?
- Two hours. Every reservation is private for the whole time you book, so the studio is never shared with another shoot.
- How far in advance do I need to book?
- At least 24 hours, and the calendar opens up to 180 days ahead. Everything in between you can book yourself, right on this page, and it is confirmed the moment you pay. If your date is sooner than 24 hours, call the studio and we will tell you honestly whether we can make it work.
- How many people can the studio hold?
- Up to 10 people, including your crew, clients, and anyone along for the day.
- Is there parking?
- Yes. Three dedicated parking spaces come with the studio, and load-in is ground floor, with no stairs, elevators, or loading docks.
- What lighting is included?
- A real kit comes with the room: two Godox MS300V 300W strobes, a Godox video light, two GVM LED video lights, a large U-shaped reflector for headshots, and a C-stand. The cyc wall is pre-lit by 8 RGB lights fixed to the walls, and sheer curtains give you soft natural light all day.
- Can I leave my equipment overnight?
- On multi-day productions, yes: book the full day on consecutive days and your kit and sets can stay up overnight between them. On single-day bookings, everything leaves with you at the end of your time.
- Can someone help me on set?
- Yes, a studio assistant is available for $40 an hour. They are an extra pair of hands during the shoot and can capture behind-the-scenes footage of you working, which is usually the content people wish they had afterwards. The assistant is not part of the online calendar, so book your hours first, then call the studio and we will confirm someone is free on your date.
- How do payment and cancellations work?
- You pay in full when you book, and that payment is what reserves the date, so there is nothing to settle on the day. More than 48 hours before your start time you can cancel or reschedule yourself and the payment is refunded in full. Inside 48 hours, call the studio: half the payment is refunded. No-shows are not refunded.
- Can I shoot video, or host a small event?
- Yes to both. The room is quiet and fully controllable for video, and it hosts launches, workshops, and small celebrations for up to 10 guests.
- What is the studio address?
- 7440 SW 50th Terrace, Suite 110, Miami, FL 33155, in the heart of Westchester, easy to reach from most of Miami.
